My Bible-reading recommendation (for what it’s worth, which is to say not very much): if you’re depressed already, stay the heck away from the Book of Ecclesiastes. “All things are wearisome; Man is not able to tell it. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, Nor is the ear filled with hearing…” and “All of it is meaningless, a chasing after the wind…” This is not going to help anybody through their own sense of existential despair.

I cannot remember her name for the life of me, I think Jennifer something, was going to be a missionary and went off on her bicycle headed for MX but turned back….her diary and some such was found later under a tree. I can picture her but can’t think of the name……
