MP of the week: Miller Harlow

This week’s featured missing person (which I forgot to add yesterday, sorry) is Miller Smith Harlow, a 62-year-old man who disappeared from Gordonsville, Virginia on August 28, 1991. He was last seen standing in front of a funeral home in town, possibly on his way to a local restaurant where his cousin was supposed to pick him up.

He was retired, lived alone, had never driven a car and would get around on foot, on his bike or by getting rides from people. He had very regular habits and because of this the police thinks something bad happened to him.

If still alive he’d now be in his nineties.

I used to live on route 33 in the county west of Louisa County. It’s pretty rural and 1 lane in each direction. I wonder if he was hit by a car and the body has never been found.

That would be so sad. I write this b/c today would be the 45th birthday of JAMIE TIRONE who was 29 when he was hit by a car (or so the story goes). He had just been accepted into a Ph.D. program with a full scholarship, his loan forgiven on the account of the merit of his research (molecular biology). I always just get a really weird feeling that there was more at play than anyone wants to say. I loved him so much. He was the smartest person I have ever met. I wish I had told him that I loved him. He was my best friend and the only person with whom I could talk about anything from science, to art to magic. His mind was just so open.

Hello, here’s another missing person to add to the site: Nicolas Daniel Sonderegger, age 28, missing since September 7, 2018 from Salton Sea Beach, California. I hope his casefile will be created and added to the site soon.

Here are 2 links to sources:

Did any of the 39 missing children found in Georgia have Charley Project profiles?

I doubt it, but I don’t know because their names haven’t been released.

        Why do you doubt it?

I doubt they’ve been missing long enough.

They haven’t release much except to mention the riad by the U.S. Marshal’s. It seems that they hit a couple of places, but not sure. Hopefully more details will come out.

Yahoo news said 13 of the children were missing, and the rest were endangered children.

Also, supposedly about 300 children are runaways in the Atlanta area. Many them are drawn into human trafficking.

Probably many of these kids were in the foster care system as well. Traffickers tend to target kids who are already vulnerable.

I was trying to find more information on L.C. Matlock. I could not find any background stuff on two of the usual directory. I was hoping to find some information on his family and possible associates.

He disappeared from Waterloo, Iowa in 2004. He supposedly lived alone, and worked for Tyson. I would like to know what his medical condition was.
