This week’s featured missing person (last week got missed due to circumstances beyond my control) is Benjamin Carlisle Tallmadge, who disappeared from Tucson, Arizona on March 21, 2002.
I don’t know much about his case. He was 23 years old when he was last seen, and would be about 41 today.

I find it noteworthy that he appears to be wearing a straitjacket in this photo. Is that of any significance? Do we know where it was taken?
I think it’s a jail pic. If he was combative during or after his arrest they might have wrapped him up.
The authorities in New Jersey are reporting that they found the remains of Vanessa Smallwood. Commercial divers found her vehicle submerged in the Salem River about 40 miles south of Cherry Hill.
I am aware; I resolved her case.
Thank goodness there’s basically nowhere around here to hide me and my car for years so I could never disappear that way, not close to home anyhow. I basically live between four cities and rarely venture further afield.
