Saw doctor, got meds

So yesterday I saw the doctor and was given some medicine and they also did a blood draw to see if anything sketchy pops up in my lab work. I hope to be feeling better soon. Maybe I’ll actually get something done today.

In other news, I wanted to tell y’all about an app called Remini. It enhances old poor quality photos. I learned about it last night and tried it with an old family photo. So this was the original:

and this was the result:

And here’s a closeup of the face, before and after:

I am very impressed and thought I should tell you guys because this could be a great tool for the missing persons world. You can do up to three photos a day for free; after that you must pay.

Wow…this looks like a great app. I definitely could have used it when I was putting my mum and dad’s pic on Facebook on their 70th. Anniversary. As an aside, my hubby retired from the Navy as an officer (he was a “ mustang, meaning that he started out enlisted) but the dark blue “crackerjack” uniform was my favorite, hands down! The pants lace up in the back and I always told him how cute his butt looked in them…ah, memories!

And, while I’m writing, I want to tell you how much I admire all you do for the missing, lots of hard work. Also, it was so humane of you to bring your “office mate” to live with you. He is living the life and looks so contented.

The photo is of my grandma’s scumbag second husband. The bastard sneaked away into the night during their HONEYMOON, taking everything they had with them (money, vehicle etc), never to be heard from again. Poor grandma, stuck in Texas, had to have her parents wire her funds to buy a bus ticket back to Ohio. I know she never got over the hurt and humiliation so I have no idea why she kept the man’s picture but she did. We found it among her stuff after she died.

Thank you for your kind comments! I slept most of today and I think I’m starting to feel human again, not nauseous anymore. Nausea is the worst. Pain you can, to an extent, set aside and ignore, but when you’re nauseous your entire self becomes a stomach and you can think of nothing else.

If one can do up to three photos a day for free, might it be a worthwhile idea to gather some Charley irregulars and give us each a list of photos from your case files, and we can each do three a day? I’m game, maybe some others would be as well?
