MP of the week: Alice Mae Sullivan

This week’s featured missing person is Alice Mae Sullivan (I’ve also seen it as Alicia), a twenty-year-old African-American woman who disappeared from Nashville, Tennessee on August 28, 1986. She was a sophomore business major at Tennessee State University and lived with her boyfriend and three-year-old son. She was last seen at a friend’s dorm room on the TSU campus.

Alice’s boyfriend is a person of interest in her case; I don’t know if it’s just by virtue of him being her boyfriend, or if there were some other indications. Another person of interest is the maintenance man at their apartment complex, who had a friendly relationship with Alice and was later convicted of rape and murder.

In the unlikely event she’s still alive, Alice would be 53 years old today.

For Terrill Suzanne Girard’s case, why the could not get DNA samples from her children until they became adults?

Angel Rose Avery was a troubled lady, I found she was charged with child abuse, shoplifting, violation of a protection order in various cases, latest time she got trouble with law, she was sentence 4 years on 12/13/2017, but was released on probation on 04/19/2018 and placed on 3 years supervised probation. Then on 07/17/2018, the court field “Violation Report-Initial; Electronic Filing Certificate of Service.” and on 08/09/2018, a warrant was issued for “THE COURT FINDS PROBABLE CAUSE TO BELIEVE DEFENDANT HAS VIOLATED THE TERMS OF HIS PROBATION. CAPIAS WARRANT ORDERED ISSUED. NO BOND IS PRESENTLY SET. THE UNDERSIGNED TO BE CONSULTED PRIOR TO SERVICE OF WARRANT OR RETURN OF DEFENDANT FROM DISTANCE GREATER THAN 200 -MILE RADIUS OF DUNKLIN COUNTY. PROBATION IN ABOVE CASE IS SUSPENDED PENDING FURTHER ORDER OF THE COURT. SO ORDERED/ROBERT N MAYER” So it is possible that our lady jumped the bail

OT: the dates for the Amber Elaine Fowler entry cannot be correct; if she was born in 1980 and went missing in 2012, she couldn’t have been 22 years old at the time of her disappearance. I thought maybe the missing date was off, but based on the info in the entry, that doesn’t seem likely. So maybe just a typo?

And I just noticed this in Amber’s entry:

“His date of birth is January 6, 1980, making him twenty-two years old in 2012.” That’s in reference to her boyfriend.

No worries, I often get my math mixed up when it comes to calculating dates involving anything from pre- and post- 2000.

Interestingly, her Missouri Court records indicated her birthday was 1980, about 2 months before she left Missouri (05/14/2012), she was placed on 5 years supervised probation for parole violation, and 08/30/2012 a warrant was issued for her arrest

Her boyfriend also had some minor criminal charges, such as burglar etc. not violent crimes
