Black History Month: Stevey Sommerville

In honor of Black History Month I’m profiling one African-American MP every day on this blog for the month of February. Today’s case is Stevey Howard Sommerville, a fourteen-year-old boy who disappeared from Brooklyn, New York on September 6, 1990.

He is classified as a runaway, and uses a string of aliases, all close to his original name. Unfortunately I don’t know anything else about this case.

How do I get an honorary story concerning my nephew. H e has been missing for over a year now and has five children and an ex-wife who are extremely concerned and want to find out what may have happened to him. He was supposedly last seen at the US embassy in Mexico City after being detained without an updated passport’ Please help!

Poor Stevey…wherever he is, I hope he is alive and safe. It’s very sad when there is little information available.
