The strange death of Cerilla Doyle

I discovered that skeletal remains found in Mason City, Iowa in May of this year have been identified as Cerilla Ann Doyle, an ex-cop from Bentonville, Arkansas who disappeared from there in the autumn of 2008.

Investigators note there is “no indication of foul play.” Mason City is over 500 miles due north from Bentonville.

I’ve gotta wonder what happened and I don’t have much. Cerilla’s husband had died several months before her disappearance, after a long illness, and there were reports that Cerilla was suicidal, but her family denied this. Why did she leave Bentonville and leave all her things behind? What brought her to Mason City? Did she know anyone there? Did she deliberately go there to die?

Unless her family decides to disclose further information, I suppose we’ll never know. RIP Cerilla.

I thought that newscaster Jodi Huesintruit. I’m thinking not related but seems like missing people/ found murdered come from all towns anywhere in this country.

It doesn’t look like Cerilla was murdered, at the police can’t find any evidence of that so far.

What is the largest distance you’ve ever seen between a missing person and where they were eventually located?

I think one woman named, I think, Lindsay Harris, disappeared from Las Vegas and turned up in Illinois or thereabouts. Patrick Somebody, from Virginia, turned up in New York.

Linsday Harris worked as a sex worker, so I think most likely she met a bad John, who convinced her to a tripe out of the town, he either had bad intention at first place or something went wrong in their trip

In the resolved cases I’m posting, I found one lady who disappeared from Boca Raton in southern Florida and turned up in New York.

Annnnd I just found someone who might have been found even further away than Boca Raton/New York: from Miami Lakes in the southern tip of Florida to Mahoning County, up in northeast Ohio.

Yeah, they finally find Cerilla Ann Doyle, her case puzzled me a lot, I recall I spent lot of time trying to find information relate to her disappearance online. Glad now her family at least could get some closure. From LE, her remain was found in the 22000 block of 275th Street in rural Mason City., from google map, that is basically middle of nowhere. LE did not say anything about her cause of death, but from the fact that what they found were her skeleton, and LE were sure there were no foul play, thus I guess the cause of death was likely suicide

On a satellite view you can see something that looks like 2 fenced yards with houses and cars on that block.I wonder whether anyone lives there? If you live in the middle of nowhere, how is that that the unknown woman comes and kills herself around your property and you just don’t notice it for years?

There were concerns about corruption in the police department in Pea Ridge. This has come up in connection with some disappearances.

Also, it was her husband that claimed that she was suicidal. Also, the police were not happy about marrying the guy who became her husband. I seem to remember that he had a bad reputation for some reason.

I wonder how long she has been there in Mason City.

May she rest in peace. Also, condolences to her family.

I started on researching this case with my college in Forensic Science “studies” back in 2015. I had gone several times to the place Officer Doyle had been working last in law enforcement (pea ridge arkansas police department) where she was next in line to be the chief (2008). When i had been there couple times several “men in uniform and a female sitting behind a desk” confronted me what are you doing here? Are you playing like you’re a cop? I said “No, I’m just a Citizen” getting some public records for a friend of Cerilla’s. (a postal worker that had told me to promise her to find out what happened to cerilla that no one seem concerned for many years and that cerilla had mentioned to her about corrupt cops in the area). Well long story short, the revenge assault attack from these men happened to me on April 18th, 2016 and it was all caught on tape. My tooth got broke-bruises all on my arms and my shoulder I have soft tissue damages. YES there is a problem with this case!

*Note: Officer Doyle was last known to be at the local bus station with a boyfriend that is a (convicted felon) that had been arrested in 1971 for an assualt with the intent to kiill his 1st wife after the Vietnam war. Also she was known to have gone to Wal-Mart and bought a hoodie and a new watch. And had gone to Arvest bank and took out $1,000 from her bank, a note to remember in this case is that CERILLA was known to carry a handgun where ever she went in her purse/person at all times. I saw that only some coins was in her purse. NO mention of money or a gun. *Just like her family, I know her mother, I too believe she was taken to this location and was murdered/killed (if she was assulated and battered any bones would not tell-these signs of trauma nor if she was strangled and or suffocated), these men circumstances around her missing-life point to a violent group of corrupt cops and a boyfriend with a violent past. She was not wanted to be the chief around these shady corrupt cops, they wanted to be the chief. You get the picture?

There’s only a handful of cops in that pea ridge arkansas police department and they are all “corrupt” it’s a fact/evidence to prove and witnesses to support the facts and causes of Officer Doyle’s murder!

Cerilla’s personal car/trucks were located at her home in Bentonville Arkansas. How did she get to Iowa? *Who gave her a ride? THAT”S THE QUESTION…she didn’t walk!
