In honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, I am profiling one Asian or Pacific Islander MP for every day of the month of May. Today’s case is Zoey Kainoa Thomas, who is actually biracial, of white and Pacific Islander (Polynesian) descent. I don’t have a lot of MPs who are Pacific Islander so I decided to count her in.
Zoey was 32 years old when she disappeared from Spring, Texas (in the Houston metro area) on August 22, 2016. She bleaches her dark hair white-blonde and has several tattoos. I got photos off her Facebook page.
A month after Zoey was last seen, her car was found abandoned behind a closed restaurant in Spring. That seems like a pretty good place to stash a vehicle where it wouldn’t be recovered for awhile.
Zoey does have a warrant out for her arrest because she missed a court date, and this gossip page has some pretty awful things to say about her. However, per Websleuths, the case is being investigated as a homicide.
She has three kids. If still alive, which seems unlikely, she would be 34 today.

How reliable are things like that gossip page? It seems remarkably vicious.
Surprisingly true in a lot of cases. People get brave behind a screen and just unload.
Yeah I would never use such a thing as a source. It’s as bad as Topix.

Really sad that her oldest son was only about 12 and reading all that crap people were saying about his mother..
I wish people would think about that before they started saying such horrible things about anyone.

That is vicious hatred and there is no excuse for that slander. It’s scary there are ‘people(?)’ like that in this world saying things so cruel about another human being. Those are the ones to be investigated first. “He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her.”
I have come across the Chicago version of this website. The comments on the website were a bit milder, in their comments about people. There is a young woman missing from DuPage County, Illinois, who had comments posted about her and her former boyfriend.
HI Zoey’s Aunt here…we still miss her and the gossip page is pure trash. Zoey wasn’t perfect by any mean. She has a very small family, but one that worries about her every day. We just want closure. Period.
