Susan, thanks for eagle eye on that important detail. NamUs, does not show a date of birth. A pet peeve of mine as a detective wirh the VA. I ran a criminal history on one of our missing veterans. He had a couple of arrests, alias name and alias SS#.
It was important to know all the correct details. We found him in his old one room flophouse, wirh a curtain for a door. It appears that he preferred it to a clean bed in a nursing home, with meals provided on the taxpayer dime.
In regards to Mercy Johnson Covington, it appears that her sister is a video game developer. Also being a woman in this field has created some backlash. In fact there is an on-going Twitter campaign called Gamergate, which targeted certain individuals. Some of this harassement comes on the form of doxing?, rape and death threats. Mercy’s sister got a death threat from someone in Dallas. It mentioned Mercy for some reason. The Dallas Police were notified.
I am not into video games but came across the reference to Gamergate. So I had to look it up. Very confusing.
Also, it appears she has several alias names. She has some arrests, including two of them on 7/10/2015.
