Some updates/clarification on this revamp thing

  1. Some people seem to be under the impression that the geographical, chronological and geographic lists of cases no longer exist. They are still there. Slightly buggy at the moment, but they do exist, and you can find the links to them on your PC browsers and mobile devices if you scroll the heck down.
  2. As I said previously, Preston Winfrey is going to make a cool search engine such as Charley has never had before. At present you can only search by name. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  3. In cases where I don’t have a date of birth, the ages have disappeared from the case information. This will be corrected.
  4. A few cases have mysteriously vanished, I don’t know why, but they will be restored.

Still working out kinks, sanding rough edges, applying polish etc.

I’ve also noticed a few that are there but the “circumstances” part just vanished. I just assumed y’all were still working on it and it would take time to work the bugs out. The name search also doesn’t work well on my phone at least, bc I can type a name and it can’t find it so I wind up looking manually anyway, but these things take time. I’m excited for what’s to come!

Before the search engine is finished, the website can always be searched via Google single website search. For example, if I want to see MP cases where a dog was involved, I ll just type into Google ” dog “

Every new system has bugs to work out. Eventually, they will be addressed and fixed. I’m sure that your legion of people who use the site will let you know if some aspect isn’t working.

I noticed that a number of cases are now completely missing their earlier information on how the disappearance in question occurred, which was after all the reason why Charley Project was so interesting, because it supplied an archive of cases with that information. Now that section is instead just blank and empty.

Will that be fixed? If yes, I guess it is alright, if not, sorry but then this was not an improvement but just made worse. The search could easily have been done via Google by writing “name-of-missing + Charley Project”. I always did that and it worked fine and was easy, too.

Ah well… Not everything new can be better.

I stumbled upon the case of Robin Krebser from Tacoma, Washington. You have the usual few details available. So I searched around and sort of came across another website that seemed to hint at him being abducted. Off course their was nothing to support the theory.
I did find that he was issued a housing permit for an address in Tacoma, by the city, about two months before he disapppeared. It appears that he was involved in fixing up places. But that is only a guess. He does have a number of addresses in the Seattle, Washington area.
