Make-a-List Monday: Filipinos

MPs of Filipino descent. There are quite a lot of them in the US; for the uninitiated, the Philippines were an American colony between 1898 and 1946. Wikipedia says that Filipino people were in what is now the United States as early as the 16th century — as sailors, I would guess — and over 40,000 Filipinos have moved to the U.S. annually since 1979.

I’ve heard theories that it was a suicide.

Yeah, there is some gross stuff out there but I do feel compelled, when it is children, to warn ppl; esp since there have been some cold case allocutions and all. I hope this ********** asterisk rots.

A search on Pipl, shows a Karen Molina Cardenas ass having lived in Concord and Oakland, California. I also came across a Karen Cardenas, who is a language and social studies teacher in Palo Alto, California. However, I could not pull up both pictures at the same time.

It would be nice to know her background. What she did for a living.
