I got a comment on this blog post today, from someone named “Jo”:
I am Brandi but everyone wants me to forget that I am pretty sure I have figured out who Tiffy is & what name she goes by now but the Meagan chic that runs the Charli Project thinks she’s god smarter than everyone else & thinks only she can solve any of these cases but if you read the disclaimer for the Charlie Project website it states she is not an investigator & they do not investigate the cases on that site. So I think this Meagan person is a misleading liar trying to convince people her words & thoughts are law written in stone. She claimed to do a hair strand DNA test on me yet that has never happened I have never met her. My DNA test was an oral swab that matched a member of the Summers Family we went through a private lab so people like Meagan couldn’t tamper with it.
And I replied,
What on earth are you talking about? I never convinced you to do a DNA test or said I did. I’ve always been very open that this website, and its administrator, doesn’t investigate cases and serves as an information portal only. You’ve got me mixed up with someone else.
I just want to make it very clear that I have never met Jo in my life or had anyone run a DNA test in any case. This person, if they didn’t imagine this entirely, clearly has me mixed up with another individual. I certainly have an idea as to who that individual might be, but let us say no more about it.

So after re-reading the post several times, (I didn’t quite understand what she was saying)…. She believes that she is Brandi Summers. I thought maybe she had confused your site with the NamUs listing. I know there is a Megan who works for them, but she is not listed as the administrator. The work you do is priceless…. so you’re bound to draw a crazy or two. I’d like to know more info on this, as I’m sure you would…. (less the drama)…. keep us posted… you have 1,000’s of armchair detectives listening…..
I saw her claims on Facebook. Ugh… so if she were Tiffani, who in the Summers family would she be related to besides her also missing half sister Brandy? She was not even a descendent of that side of the family (the Summers family). That was her mom’s previous husband, not Tiffani’s dad. Anyone who knows the case would at least know that much. What is this chic’s goal anyway?
Oh wait what?!? I read this wrong – she is claiming to be Brandy! Brandy had cystic fibrosis – I would be very surprised if she is still alive unless she got treatment of some sort.
I was just going to post this same thought! It’s very unlikely a child born with CF in the early seventies would live into their mid-forties. I don’t think this Jo person considered this when announcing she’s Brandi.
Even with treatment, it’s highly unlikely.

Hey: I think this is Michelle whom was pretending to be Jennifer Klein or Nancy from Missing in America harassing you. This kind of drama has been going on, on the web to several of us. So sorry for this, I know this is nothing you’d participate in and this drama is unacceptable to the rest of us researchers trying to bring the missing and unidentified home.
Wow, I read their comments. I’m used to seeing trolls online and they certainly have the usual troll style of raving inanely. For some reason, though, “Jo” and their other “Joey” persona really creep me out. Like a nasty chill down the back. I’m not sure why, maybe because it is so very creepy to try to (allegedly) impersonate a poor little girl who was kidnapped. I hope they decide to go troll elsewhere.
