This week’s featured missing person is Lucia Chilel Perez, who disappeared from Worthington, Minnesota sometime in late June 2011, possibly June 27. A mother of three, she left with a guy to go looking for work. The man subsequently returned without her. He has a history of violence and gave an explanation for Lucia’s disappearance that turned out to be false. The police are understandably calling him a person of interest.
OFF TOPIC, but very relevant to this site and our times. If you are a devoted Ink Master fan like me you’ve seen this commercial a lot, if not, check it out. SpikeTV is going to air Gone, The Forgotten Women Of Ohio on July 22 (my bday!), as an eight part series. Doing some digging it looks to be well done and very through. It is about the disappearances of (a minimum) of six women from the Chillicothe area of Ohio. Four have been found deceased, two are missing still, unknown how many will be/are linked to this. I believe both missing women are on Charley. I don’t feel this is a super sensationalist show, I hate those, I feel like this wants to do some good and bring some attention to this whole mess, so check it out, let’s get the ratings up and the word out that there are people watching all over. Thanks Meaghan, for letting me do my PSA LOL! I’d love to see the same treatment given to the missing/murdered in VA and CT, maybe this filmmaker will look into it…….
ID Discovery already aired a six part documentary name “The Vanishing Women” for the same cases ?
I’m sure that is true, oddly, there is another series called Gone airing on ID first up is Christopher Daigle (sp?). I watched a few shows tonight, didn’t do much for my faith in humanity.
OT Lashaya Stine, case posted today? Says she is 10 but in high school? She looks about 16 or so…….typo?
Sorry. Will fix.
