John Peter Fox, a guy who disappeared from California in 1991 and is listed with the Idaho State Police’s MP clearinghouse for some reason, is said to have “HFR RIGHT WRIST.”
I have no idea what that means. A little help please? Thank you.

I think a wrist fracture is commonly called a radial fracture. There is a radius and a hamate bone in the wrist as well so those letters may have something to do with the abbreviation. After looking at lots of xrays on Google of a wrist fracture it looks like this hamate bone is commonly broken in a lot of the cases. Long story short, he probably has evidence of a wrist/radial fracture in his right wrist. Just my guess.
That makes sense. Seems probable, even. I just wish the site would make it more clear.
As mentioned above, it means Healed Fracture. See page 11 of the NCIC data collection guide: http://www.untfsu.com/Documents/NCICMissingDataCollectionGuide.pdf
I agree with Dan and MJ. It also mentions a scar on his right wrist.
This is so confusing: LAST PERSON TO SEE HIM WAS A KEVIN, WHO ALSO LIVED IN SOUTH DAKOTA AND CALIFORNIA, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO LOCATE HIM, HE SERVED IN THE NAVY AT ONE TIME, OLIVE SKIN, HFR RIGHT WRIST, SCAR RIGHT WRIST.
How many of those refer to Kevin? Was Kevin the one who served in the army and had olive skin? Or are those talking about John?
Agree w/ MJ that is what it means.
I think that it would be nice if we knew what ship he served and what he did. It could be a way of finding people who served with him, who could provide some information or if anyone had contact with him prior to his disappearance or after.
