This week’s featured MP is Beatrice Marie Lopez Cubelos, who disappeared from Albuquerque, New Mexico in the early morning hours of September 24, 1989. She decided not to wait on a ride home from a friend, and to hitchhike instead. She never made it.
Offhand, I wonder if Beatrice might have been one of the victims of David Parker Ray. She disappeared in his territory.

Are we sure that she actually left her friend’s apartment alive ? Were they any other witness other than these two men ?

I was married for 17 years to the same man that she was married to at the time of her disappearance. He became very violent and volatile at the end of our marriage. I was fully aware of the fact that his first wife had disappeared, and never ever felt that the man that I married was capable of any kind of violence…that is, until I gave him an ultimatum, and saw how truly brutal he could be. At this point, I do wonder if he may have had something to do with her death.
