I don’t think I’m going to add it to her casefile, but I found out about another tragedy in Trinia Williams‘s family: her mother’s husband was murdered in 1969, shot by a neighbor during an argument. The murder is rather infamous in Columbus history because, although it doesn’t appear to have been racially motivated, it did spark a race riot which featured firebombings, another person being killed, hundreds of people getting arrested, and 1,200 National Guardsmen being called in to restore order.
I assumed at first that Roy Beasley was Trinia’s father, but the math says not: he died five years before Trinia was born.
Whilst trying to find more info on Trinia’s case I found this, but it wouldn’t let me play the video. More’s the pity; I have little enough as it is and would have liked some more.

I was able to watch this video. It did have some interesting info which I’ll try to list below. It was a little bit confusing but I’ll do my best.
-Trinia’s daughters name is Precious and she was 22 years old during this interview.
-Precious’ father was in jail or prison at the time Trinia disappeared. His name is Stevie.
-The friend Trinia met with the day she disappeared was an ex inmate with Stevie.
-The video states this ex inmate and Stevie had a “relationship” and he had found out about Trinia and Precious and sought them out after his release, which was before Stevie’s.
-Trinia’s was under the impression that this ex inmate was going to take her to see Stevie.
-This person is the one who returned Precious to her grandmother and said he had no idea where Trinia was.
-The detective in this interview states Michael Brown was very jealous and had left a voice message saying he would kill Trinia. (I’m assuming Michael Brown was the ex inmate but the detective never clarified that they were the same person or if the message had been left to Trinia or someone else.)
-This ex inmate is now deceased.
I hope this makes sense.

I was also able to watch the video — usually, they just showed video of Precious’s child, or the detective (Sonny Williams, doubtful relationship to the others though) and Precious talking. I was able to watch it on my Edge browser, but not on my Chrome. I think it’s because you have Adblock on your browser since my Chrome has but Edge doesn’t. Maybe you could be able to watch it if you turn it off.
