This week’s featured missing person is Tarasha Benjamin, a seventeen-year-old girl missing from Selma, Alabama since June 26, 2010. I don’t have a lot of detail on this case but the circumstances look suspicious to me: they found her car parked on the roadside, facing the wrong way, and it had been broken into.
I know it’s been awhile since I updated. I hope to resume today.
The circumstances of Tarashas case definitely look suspicious to me.
Also, OT, but looks like Michele Harris’ husband was found not guilty. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/calvin-harris-new-york-man-found-not-guilty-wife-s-n579536?cid=sm_fb Sigh…
Whether or not Cal Harris killed this wife, this case was kind of a travesty. No criminal case should have to be tried four times. He was able to get his murder conviction overturned twice — either things went badly wrong both times or he has REALLY good appeals attorneys.
More OT: New evidence in Bernard Ross case?

Or it could be a cruel hoax. For the parents sake, I hope not. I don’t know who would contact them after all these years unless it was someone involved in his disappearance. As for the Harris case, practically a foregone conclusion. Four trials? Unless they find her body soon, there will be no conviction, won’t now anyway, the evidence was circumstancial at best. There was a lot about that which smacked of a DA or whatever having a grudge. Peterson dude is all over the news too. Nice guys.
