Remember my post about “The Folder” where all the unposted missing persons cases go to die? (If you don’t, here’s the post.) Well, I’ve got the idea that I might make use of the Folder more often if it’s organized by date instead of alphabetically. Like, if some night I really feel like posting cases from the eighties for some reason, I can just glance at the Folder instead of having to open 20 bookmarks from there in hopes of finding two or three cases from the years I want.
So I’ve been going through my bookmarked cases all night, adding the date of disappearance to the bookmark name, and slotting them into new folders labeled with years instead of letters.
I’ve got a looooong way to go.
Another Executed Today entry by me: Robert “Rattlesnake” James, a serial killer who was hanged by the state of California in 1942. James earned his nickname by using rattlesnakes as one of his weapons of murder. The two snakes were presented as evidence during his trial, and one of them actually escaped during the lunch break.
Whoops.
They botched his hanging too.
