This list is of MPs who were Mormons, aka the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, aka LDS. I don’t know very much about the LDS church other than that they’re very conservative, mostly live in Utah, and have had a lot of controversy lately over their treatment of gays. Oh, and Elizabeth Smart is a Mormon. She and her husband are, as far as I know, the only LDS people I’ve ever met, though I could be wrong about that. It’s not like I go around asking people what church denomination they belong to.
