Zulma Pabon’s photo, part deux

I have had some consideration and thought about what the commenters on this blog have had to say, and decided to remove the disputed photograph of Zulma Lexandra Pabon, the one everyone thinks looks nothing like the others. Because, in spite of the Virginia State Police’s reassurances, I’m still not sure it’s her. The different hair and darker skin tone could conceivably be explained by makeup, hair dye/perm, lighting, etc. But it’s the chin that gets me: the woman in the first photo has an almost triangular face, with a very sharp chin. In the other photos Zulma’s face looks rounder, even square-ish, with a much less pronounced chin.

So the photo’s gone. It’s not like I don’t already have a bunch of others. And if it turns out, down the line, that I find out for sure that picture from the VA state police site really is of her, I can just put it back up.

I agree with the rest, I see two different persons too.

This makes me think about the Rene LaManna case, that I was reading about a couple weeks ago, I saw you updated her case file to say she was seen in 2014 as articles reported, however I think it’s the old woman in the photo who was seen in 2014 and the sighting reports from 1995 were probably unconfirmed. The thing is the old woman in the photo to me looks nothing like Renee, her sister thinks it’s her but I would say it is literally impossible that they be the same person, the chins are completely different too. I think the only resemblance here is an alias the old woman used who looked like Rene Lamanna’s name but it’s probably just a coincidence and they’re not at all the same person. Rene much likely didn’t live long after her disappearance.

I don’t think the ears look alike either and ears do not change unless they are injured and those ears look fine both in the removed picture and in the other photos. No expert but I would also say that these are two different women. The strong difference in skin color seems odd too, it does not look like a tan.

So crazy that the VA State Police insist it’s the same person. One is clearly Hispanic and one is clearly black, it’s not even close.
And honestly it makes me worry about the unnamed girl – if she’s a missing person and her photo is attached to Zulma’s file, then that means there probably isn’t any information about her being put out there in order to help locate her.

My friends (offline I mean) reckon this is a case of identity theft and the black woman is alive and well and would be a bit out to find her pic on an MP site.
