Two people have asked, so I thought I would make a statement about the first photograph in Zulma Pabon‘s casefile. Yes, I know it doesn’t look like the other ones. But yes, I believe it’s really her, unless the Virginia State Police really screwed up, cause that’s where I got the picture from.
[EDIT: Okay, I just called up the Virginia State Police myself and brought it to their attention. They assured me that this really is her photograph, provided to them by the Chesterfield Police, and it’s a driver’s license picture. DMV photos never seem to look much like you anyway, and perhaps this is an older one or something. But it really is her.]
Ok I believe you and the police, but It doesn’t look like her. The noses are so different.
Maybe the picture is an original DMV pic taken from when she first got her license at 16?
I don’t care what the police say – there’s no way that is the same woman.
I still think it’s a mistake – they happen. Not based on skintone at all actually, but the first picture appears to be a wig/weave and the woman’s chin is very angular. The expression and smile are also very different – more of a smirky sort of smile. All the other photos show a more rounded chin/jawline and her smile is upturned in the corners, unlike the first photo. The other photos also show chubby cheeks while the first shows a more angular face that accentuates the high cheeks bones. The eyes of the person in the first picture also look very different than the eyes in the rest of the photos.
Additionally, all the other photos show she’s wearing lipstick and other makeup…I highly doubt she’d NOT wear makeup for a DMV picture.
The third photo looks like a DL/ID photo. That first picture looks like a completely different woman.
If you look closely at the disputed picture, she is wearing makeup. Lipstick anyway.
Maybe balm and some mascara, but the other pictures have a very distinct makeup look/style. The other pictures have a more classic romantic look – blush, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick.
Zulma has a very distinct style that is apparent in all of the other pictures.
(I know you took it down, I just wanted to clarify! =D)
This is bizarre. What could possibly explain that a skinny black woman transformed into a slightly chubby hispanic woman? I mean, just look at the two images side by side:
It seems that VSP has put a picture of a completely different woman into their database as Pabon and are in denial for some reason. Either that, or she has gone through extreme changes in physical appearance, like Michael Jackson.
The masses have spoken. I’ve taken the one photo down.
I agree it’s a mistake; I think the Chesterfield Police have provided the wrong photo to the Virginia State Police. I just had a quick look at Zulma’s Facebook photos & amongst various other features that are totally different, Zulma has 2 moles on the right side of her face (on the side of her nose & on her cheek) that are clearly visible against her skin tone, which the lady in the first picture simply doesn’t have. Now that you’ve brought it to their attention perhaps they’ll re-check it for accuracy, personally I’m convinced it’s not her.
Agreed with all of the above. I would swear that is not the same lady, unless she had work done, maybe?
Stolen Identity maybe as well? I’m sorry, but looking at those side by side I just cannot get behind that being the same woman. I’ll apologize if I’m wrong, but even the facial lines don’t add up. I’m much bigger than I was before after having a kid, but even after having my id updated after four (or more) years, you can tell it is me. This just blows my mind a bit. I guess it could be, but…..
Oh, and the skin color could be the flash, clearly, but still.
