This week’s featured missing person is Robert C. Putman, who was 78 when he went missing from Missouri in 2000 and would now be 93. Since he suffered from dementia and a pretty severe heart condition, I doubt he survived long after his disappearance. My guess is that his body is somewhere close by to where he went missing.
I agree. I’m familiar with the Neosho area and I know where Tower Road is… It’s about 2 miles in length and runs between Neosho and Granby.
He couldn’t have made it very far. There is a large forested area on the south side of Tower Road, closer to Neosho. I’m curious about how extensively that area was searched.
Is it Putman or Putnam?
Whoops, my bad, will fix.
These are the ones that freak me out. I just feel like How can no one even find a body? Granted maybe there was not a very big search party I don’t know … but none the less they get my OCD brian working in overdrive! lol
I wrote a thing about the missing with dementia: http://www.inquisitr.com/2202896/dementia-and-the-missing-elderly/
I am the granddaughter of Robert and there was a huge, very extensive search done on his 120 acre farm and surrounding areas. Horses, dogs, 4 wheelers and helicopters searched for several weeks. One day we have well over 200 people searching….but still to no avail. He was such a kind and gentle man….wish we could just have closure.
