MP of the week: Catherine Chiang

This week’s featured missing person is Catherine Chiang, a Taiwanese-American nurse who disappeared from the Bronx in 1997. Foul play is suspected in her case, but little information is available. I could find only one press item about her disappearance, a short article published six weeks after she vanished. This is one of those “I wish I knew more” cases.

Did you change the layout of the MP of the week on the homepage, or is my computer funky again? I could only access the file by clicking the picture and brief details were posted below. Anyway, one of those cases that makes you fear for yourself, if you ever disappeared, esp. in a big city, that it would totally be forgotten. Chilling. I hope she is ok, you never know, but I do doubt it. Glad you are back, Meaghan.

Yes although I didn’t want to. I was just poking through some of the code on the index page and next thing I knew, several paragraphs were erased and I tried to write up the missing HTML code from memory,

Thanks zinc! I had known about archive.org but just didn’t think to try to use it to get my sourcecode back. I’ve fixed everything now.

    5’7″ and 110 pounds? That’s way underweight….

I’ll do you one better: Tiana Martin, whose case I updated today, was 5’5 and 80 pounds. She had a medical condition though. I’m 5’6 and weighed about 110 – 115 pounds from my teens up through my early twenties. I’m up to 140 now.
