Select It Sunday: Christopher Hallaxs

Selected by someone with no name (only an email address): Christopher Charles Hallaxs, age 30, missing from northern Michigan since March 17, 2004. He was 30 years old. He was last seen on a camping trip; he had plenty of supplies with him and was an experienced outdoorsman who kept caches of food and additional supplies at various spots in the Michigan wilderness. He had the capabilities to stay out for a long time.

But ten years is stretching it.

Christopher’s grandmother apparently thought there’s a chance he’s still alive: in her obituary in 2013, he’s listed as a survivor.

Interesting… Usually when people go missing,..Personal things missing with them can’t be nailed down to that degree.
Reminds me of Christi Nichols, and how her husband could name every article of clothing that was missing and found in the suitcase by I-80.

It is a lot of detail but if he went of habitually people would be aware of what he was carrying. I am curious though, what the motive would be either for voluntary or involuntary disappearance. That is an awful long time to be out there in the woods…..
