Flashback Friday: Ingrid Anderson

This week’s Flashback Friday case is Ingrid Angela Anderson, missing from Richmond, California since May 20, 1971. Her case is one of those three-sentence, “few details are available” ones and I have never once updated it in the ten years the Charley Project has been in existence. She was 27 years old and on the short side, with brown hair, blue eyes and pierced ears. Beyond that paltry physical description I know absolutely nothing about her.

If Ingrid Angela Anderson is alive today, she would be seventy years old.

      Yes, I agree. It does!

The timeline doesn’t really work, does it? The UIP record describes a body discovered months, not years, after death.

True, but other than that it all fits – body was found in California and the age is supposedly between 18 and 30.

She could have left home for her own reasons and then not been killed till later? It looks eerily like her… 😦

Just wrote to San Bernadino County Sheriff to see if it was checked whether SB Jane Doe might be Ingrid Anderson.

      This could get interesting….

I am just curious if you ever heard anything back. Ingrid is my grandmother I just found out from family that she disappeared when my dad was a baby. And I’ve been finding a lot online about her disappearance. I’m just trying to find more information related to her disappearance.

Was it 71 or 77? Casefile says both

      1971. My bad. Fixed.

      Okay, will change.
