I literally don’t know what I’d do without my father

Without question Dad is one of the best and most supportive people in my life — right up there with Michael. And here’s another thing to thank Dad for: he just bought me a New York Times subscription. Until February I can read the NY Times as much as I want.

Naturally I’m scouring their website for missing persons articles, of which there are 5,000 and change. The vast majority are of no interest to me but I’m sure I’ll find some nuggets of information. I’ve already shared on Charley’s Facebook page two articles I found.

I’ve started back to front — that is, oldest articles to newest — and there are a lot of names I don’t recognize, and I find myself wondering if those people were ever found. I suppose I’ll find out about some of them as I continue to read.
