And…that’s really gross and barbaric. Mob mentality at its finest.
The most telling part to me was this one > “Children were lifted to shoulders, that they might behold the agony of the victim.”
I can only imagine what kind of children grew out of those who were told to enjoy the agony of a dying man.
Or they were scarred for life. You never know.
