Odd, I was just going through 99. I really have to wonder if this wasn’t an after the fact accident. No word, no leads, nothing since then. Maybe he really did just wander off. Esp. if it wasn’t suspected suicide. Any way sliced and diced, so sad for his family.

I wonder if this is a case of Dissociative Fugue. This is a psychiatric disorder, where the person develops amnesia and flees their area.
This disorder is triggered or caused by PTSD, marital problems, a death in the family. The missimg person may develop or assume a new identity.

People with this condition do tend to recover their memories eventually and return home, though. Nathan has not.
