I’m thinking about doing some changes to the resolved notices on the site — removing them after a time period, at least in the case of living people. To protect their privacy. As it stands, resolved notices stay up forever unless the no-longer-missing person, or the police, or (in some cases) a relative of the no-longer-missing-person asks me to take the notice down. Then I do so at the earliest opportunity. But such requests from no-longer-MPs, which used to be rare, have increased as of late. I’ve gotten two in the last month.
What do y’all think? I was thinking of leaving resolved cases up for one month only, or maybe for 30 cases at a time — since each “resolved” page has 30 cases. I could add a new case at the top, drop an old one off the bottom.
