Susan Powell book coming out

According to the Susan Cox Powell Foundation, true crime authors Gregg Olsen and Rebecca Morris will be “launching” their book about the Powell case on Friday at the Puyallup Public Library. The book is called If I Can’t Have You: Susan Powell, Her Mysterious Disappearance, and the Murder of Her Children. It came out a week ago.

I hadn’t heard of this book. But I’ve placed a hold for it at the library.

I’ve read several excerpts from this book…sounds sickening. I don’t know if this is a sensationalistic tome or what, but if you want a few links I’ll post them. Did you also see that Susan’s parents are searching the FIL’s old house now that they have access? Come up with a few things it seems. I don’t know if I’d read the book in entirety…that family creeps me out. And it doesn’t cast Susan in the best light either.

What does it say about Susan? Seems to me that it was mostly her in laws that wanted to show her in a poor light, like their website pics of her were all very unflattering, more so than her own family’s pics.
