Very interesting. Not sure what reason or reasons could be responsible for that. Enjoy the popularity!

This article from April 21st mentions Charley: http://hudsonvalleyreporter.com/putnam/2014/04/state-police-body-found-in-patterson-woods-likely-man-reported-missing-four-years-ago/ Apparently they found skeletal remains and they’re pretty sure it’s Gabriel Lopez-Duarte.

Also, yesterday, CNN ran an article on a guy who was convicted in the 1957 murder of Maria Ridulph, and is appealing said conviction. That article doesn’t mention Charley, but there are two related articles linked at the bottom of the page. One is on the Lyon sisters and the other is about the (solved) disappearance of Cheryl Miller and Pamela Jackson. The one about the Lyon sisters uses Charley as a source.

I’m assuming that some people who read those articles were interested enough to look up those disappearances, and came upon your site. And Charley is like a bag of potato chips: you can’t just read one profile. That’s probably why you’ve suddenly had so many views, haha

That’s all well and good, but the increased traffic is going to the blog only. The number of visitors to charleyproject.org has remained about the same. 9,615 yesterday for example.

If it’s to the blog only and not the website, it could be a glitch in the view counter. Hopefully not though, you deserve the extra views!

I think I might have found the answer; somebody linked to my blog on Reddit the other day.
