This case needs all the coverage it can get, so…

I noticed that News One for Black America did an article on Jeremiah Huger‘s disappearance. The article quotes his grandfather, but contains precisely nothing new. Nevertheless, I thought I should make note of it on my blog because poor Jeremiah has gotten so little media attention over the past 28 years.

Seems definitely like someone who knew him. Hopefully he’s still alive somewhere and his family finds him.

    How horrifying.

The article doesn’t give much details….I wonder was the exboyfriend looked into.

The poor little guy wouldn’t have been able to put up much of a defence to such a determined abductor.

It isn’t right that little Jeremiah hasn’t aroused much interest, considering how darned cute he was and how much drama surrounded his disappearance and the aftermath of same. Poor little boy. He was so photogenically adorable and would’ve done great on the national stage, in terms of attracting audience attention. Even now, he should be a cause celebre for some famed talking head out there.

I hope he’s still alive. Poor little tyke. Poor Jeremiah’s mother.

He was black. That’s probably why.

It definitely sounds like he was abducted by someone he knew. Most little kids aren’t going to go walking towards a strange man across the street. I’d be shocked if this was a stranger abduction.

    Poor kid. I hope he’s found …

I bet if they had had Amber Alerts back in 1985, Jeremiah would have been found quickly. This is the kind of case Amber Alerts are designed for.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I hope someone desperate for kids either bought him or kidnapped him. The alternative is too awful to think of.
