Last month the Denver Post did a seven-page article about Kara Nichols, who’s been missing since October 2012. What can I say? It’s a very sad story; her disappearance is just the latest in a long string of troubles in Kara’s life.

I feel bad for her parents. Their daughter was on a fast boat to nowhere and it seems like it was only a matter of time before something like this happened.
It sounds like her folks did all the right things for her, tried to get her help, etc. I don’t think they have anything to feel guilty about, but I’m sure they do feel pretty bad about it all.
