Unsurprisingly, this is a list of missing people who are originally from Africa. (A list of African countries can be found here.)
Just Africa, not sure where
Mohama Samsoudini Baba
Cote d’Ivoire
Irene Kouame
Ethiopia
Tigist Hailu
Kenya
Edwina Atieno Onyango
Eugene Bush Wekesa
Somalia
Muna Mahamud Haji
Sudan
Marceline Tolondo
As you can see, this is a pretty short list. The Charley Project features far more cases of people believed to be be IN Africa. Perhaps that is a list for another time.
I could of swore you had at least a couple ppl from South Africa.
I have a few Make A List ideas for you. Some may bw impossible; they’re just ideas. MPs who were riding a bicycle, MPs who were in the Military, MPs who left behind 3 or more children, MPs who were 5’9″ or taller. Just a few.
I’ll take those under consideration but they’ll have to wait; I’ve got several lists already written for the weeks to come and I’m working on a BIG one.
Gotcha. That’s good. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Another suggestion for your pilr Meaghan…. MPS who were involved in a car crash or auto accident immediately prior to going missing ?
Also MPs who were born on Christmas day….like me.
Hi there – I’m an avid follower of your blog and site. You are amazing. I’m wondering what you mean by you have a lot of people that you think are IN Africa. I rarely see missing people cases where people think they have been taken to Africa. I’m a PhD in cultural studies with expertise in Sub-Saharan. I’m wondering if you can point me to any examples?? Thank you!!!!
Most of the cases I referred to are family abductions. Off the top of my head I can think of only one that isn’t: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/s/stooksberry_paul.html is believed to be in Egypt — along with 14 family-abducted kids. There’s a pair of sisters believed to be in Ghana, a sister and brother who might be in Sudan (or in one of several other countries), two boys in Morocco and a boy in Cameroon — all family abductions.
Wow! Thanks for your fast reply, Meaghan. You are so amazing. I wanted to let you know – I found a site that lists Mohama Baba as Togolese. http://www.togoforum.com/Annonces/Avis/Samsoudini010706.htm
I was so astounded at the lack of details we see in his case, but perhaps it’s the language barrier. I speak French and I can translate for you the above article to include in his profile, if you would be interested?? It gives much more details than I’ve found on any English website listing him as missing!
Thanks for the offer; I would very much appreciate it.
