Paula and Brandon Wade? They are from the town I went to college in, and went missing my first year there.

Also the Jeremy Alex case pops up in my head often.

Stewart Simmons. Almost no coverage of him ever and he’s a pet case of mine.

Hmmm, I have some ideas but I got to pick Colleen Wood, so I’ll just throw a vote towards the Wades. Such a sad case.

I missed the deadline for this one, but can you please profile Benjamin Cannon and Kevin Mahoney in the future? Once again thanks so much for keeping this blog and for everything you do!

How about Viviana Lazaridis? From my Hometown. Always felt that mother was so taken advantage of because she struggled on and off with mental illness. Great loving mom should have gotten more support.

Is her first name Varvara? I just read her profile. If you click on “Bring Varvara Home,” it takes you to a website by her father saying that he was the “left behind” parent — looks like a lot of you know what to me. He has turned it all around, but he has his daughter with him, he acknowledges that, and he says that he is “helping others in his situation.” As my dad used to say, “yuk!”

Reading further, it looks like Mr. Lazaridis has hijacked the original “Bring Varvara Home” webside, and he called NCMEC a “criminal operation! —-“If you would like to read about the original launch of this website by Bring Varvara Home Inc., a criminal operation that defrauded the public by raising money in collaboration with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (USA)”

    I’m speechless!

He’s got a big history of pointless litigation. Amongst other things.

Thank you for the link. I was so upset about that website when I saw it..I’m so happy to see that you addressed the issue. Whew..you have no idea how much better I feel!

I didn’t write that; the left-behind parent (and good friend of mine) Carlos Bermudez did.
