That was fast — only a little over a month after his arrest, Gerald Uden has pleaded guilty to three murders and offered a detailed confession as to what went down. And it’s despicable. He outright executed an entire family.
And even after all this time, he STILL hasn’t apologized and he’s STILL blaming Virginia — one of his victims — for what happened. Just who are you calling “predator” Gerald, when you’re the one who shot a woman and two children in the back of the head? So this all started because of a dispute with Virginia over the divorce…then, what did the kids do? Why’d you have to kill them too?
And he’s 71 years old. Which means he won’t serve many years of his life sentence. Sigh.
Hi Meaghan, when are you planning on updating CharleyProject. I remember you writing that we were going to start again on the 3rd, but it’s past that …
Anyway, that story is messed up. I don’t understand why these people choose to kill when there are so many other options available. If you don’t like someone, just effing divorce them or something.
She kept her promise and did update! http://www.charleyproject.org/updates.html
Weird. It still says October 3rd for me…
Reload the page, mion, and you should see it.
It’s working now. Thanks!
He is horrible. I hope this family can get closure. After that i hope this man gets prison justice.
This confession literally made me sick. At least he’s going to prison…
They never change, never will. Just hope to have the bodies properly recovered. With luck, he’ll live till 103, all the time in jail with no “compassion” release. I doubt he’ll ever admit true guilt in any of it, and he matched up with a woman who was just the same. Wonder what else they did. Also wonder where the bio father of the boys has been. Haven’t seen any articles on him, but that could be my limited scope. At any rate, this guy is a waste of air, and his wife too…….
This is when it’s good to have a belief in the afterlife; my vision of hell, FYI, is a plane of existence filled with suffering, anguish, and heartache, just like a lot of people experience on this plane, except it’s without any hope or joy or anything else “divine”. Anyway, it will be nice to envision Gerald Uden living out the entirety of his afterlife in that plane of existence, where he’ll wish he’d have killed himself instead of his wife and stepkids. 😦
I feel so sorry for those two little boys, though. Never had a chance to really live.
