Tonight Michael and I are going on a totally romantic date: we’re going to see the new Die Hard.
And in other news, my father has a Kindle Fire now, and he gave me his old Kindle — the basic, $69 kind. I had never really jumped on the electronic reader bandwagon, but it’s nice to have I guess, and more convenient than lugging a bunch of heavy books around. I’m in the middle of three different (paper) books right now, all more than 400 pages. When I de-registered Dad’s Kindle from his name and re-registered it under my name, I expected the 119 books he’d bought to disappear from the device, but they didn’t. Whee.
