At this point I have like 100 or so updated cases already written and ready to be posted and around the same number still awaiting my attention. (Not to mention new cases.) For updates, I usually add new/updated age-progressions and anything murder-without-a-body related (like, new charges, or the trial’s outcome) in front of other updates. That aside, when it comes to which updates get posted first, which, in the opinion of Charley’s viewers, is preferable?

Even though I voted, I don’t really have a strong preference. On the other hand, I much rather prefer new cases than updates. That way, it puts their name and any details out there even more… but I’m sure it’s very hard to juggle both.

New cases are another matter altogether. Of course you, and I, would prefer long detailed ones. But, by definition, when I write long detailed ones I have to write fewer overall, because it takes more time to write those. I can spend an entire day writing one case — I think I spent about that much time on Sky Metalwala.

Just speaking for myself, but I don’t think you need to include age progressions and additional images on your case updates. I do like to know when a DOB, DLC, height info, or Location LKA is changed, but I don’t need to know when you add an AP or an additional image.

Others may disagree, but that might be a way to save a few extra steps on your list of updates.

    I agree with CarlK…

I wanted to add something else… With the major/more important updates, is there a way to note the exact update (mainly details of disappearance). When you say details of disappearance are updated, is there a way to note the exact update/new/added information?

      I can’t think of a way I would like.

I voted. I don’t strongly sway one way or the other though. I would like to add that since the burden is 100% on you, I think you should do whatever is easiest for you or whatever your preference is.

I voted too, but again, I don’t really care as long as you are happy with the way you are going through cases in your backlog. Maybe you could set out certain days for doing things…like M,W AP’s and images, T, TH new cases or details, F resolved, or something like that…dunno though. Whatever you feel like is fine.

I also voted and it really doesn’t matter to me, Meaghan. Its whatever your comfortable with.
