Yesterday, January 6, the Charley Project got more than 10,000 visitors. Usually it gets somewhere between five and seven thousand a day. The usage statistics say the casefile of Robert Wiles, a MWAB case out of Florida, got a lot of visits. Over 3,000 in fact, which would neatly account for the surplus number of visits.
I checked to see if Mr. Wiles had been in the news, and it turns out a site called the Inquisitr ran an article about him yesterday. That was probably the reason for all that traffic. People read the article, Google Robert Wiles’s name, and his Charley casefile is second on the search results page.
