Michael’s cat, Carmen, turns three today, October 1. Michael got her on October 22, 2009 and she is the most wonderful cat in the world. She loves everybody, purrs all the time and gets along very well with the rats.
I just took a cell phone pic of her:
Annnnnd here’s a photo taken by Michael, of Carmen looking at me with an expression of absolute scorn:
I turn 27 on Friday, October 5 — god, that feels old, another year and I’ll be out of my mid-twenties and pushing thirty.
And the Charley Project turns eight on October 12.
sooo cute…and i’m not even a cat person!
Meaghan,
Did you know that October 5 is the world’s most common birthday? Apparently it has something to do with the date of conception being December 31 or January 1 for people born on that day. New Year’s Eve parties and such.
Anyway, happy upcoming birthday. You’ve accomplished a lot for 27.
Happy birthday to Carmen, Charlie and you 🙂
Happy Birthday – I hope you realize what a special soul you are.
Happy Birthday, Meaghan. Carmen is beautiful and so are you!
Happy Birthday Meaghan! Another one of my birthday twins… :). May you have a blessed day!!
Happy Birthday Meaghan!
I love that pic of Carmen looking upward and sitting pretty! And Happy Birthday Meaghan! And for goodness sake you are not old! lol! “gets along very well with the rats.” lol! so much for getting rid of them! And that in that last pic, that’s one serious look Carmen’s giving you! lol!
Did you name her Carmen? How did that name come about? Its a pretty name.
Michael named her. He is an Ohio State University graduate and wanted to name the cat Brutus if it was a boy (after the mascot, Brutus Buckeye) or Carmen if it was a girl (after the school song, Carmen Ohio).
