Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I have updated just now for the third day in a row. I’m not burning out after all, see. I hope to be able to update tomorrow, too.
Gotcher MP of the week too: Douglas John Becker, 16, missing from Washington state since 1992. He’s listed as a runaway, but there’s also suggestions of foul play. He would be 34 36 today, if he is still alive.
Reynaldo Rivera was tried and convicted for the Georgia Murders. I believe he got the Death Penalty. He confessed to a Murder in Aiken County, South Carolina as well.
I see you have a guy who’s believed to have killed himself in Florida over money trouble. They say suicide is selfish, and it usually is, but it is extra selfish when you wreck your friend’s airplane to do it.
I hope the friend had insurance.
I bet he isn’t quite so happy to lend things out now. Honestly, an airplane? That is too much.
Douglas John Becker would be 36 today. Not criticizing. Just sadly aware of how old I’m getting, which makes me hyper aware of how old others would be.
Did you see where Katherine Phillips’s mother is going to marry her father? She claims its so she can get more info from him on what he did with Katherine. This seems very weird. If he hasn’t told the truth by now her marrying him won’t change his mind.
The marriage thing reminds me of the (sadly, apparently forgotten) Taniyah Leonard case. Last I heard, both parents were blaming the other one for causing the baby’s disappearance. Taniyah’s parents had another baby together later on (and weren’t permitted to keep it, thank goodness). Some newspaper interviewed her mom and she said she thought the dad had killed her. The interviewer was like “so, then, why’d you get back together with him and have another kid?” And the mom said something like, “I thought maybe I could convince him to tell me what happened to Taniyah. We weren’t together for very long but it was long enough.”
How long, I wonder, was “long enough”? Five minutes? Fifteen?
