Elena Lozada, who had been missing from Portland, Maine since last July, has been found deceased. Her skeletal remains turned up in an unspecified “remote area” of Maine. How vague can you get? Maine has a lot of remote areas. The entire state is a remote area.
The police haven’t said much, other than the obvious that the death is considered suspicious. The press is speculating that Elena, who was a sex worker, might have been a victim of the same person who killed four escorts whose bodies were found on Long Island last December.
Elena was 24 years old.
