More Carlina stuff

I am leaving her casefile up for a bit. It’s the first thing you see when you Google her name.

ABC News: “Nejdra Nance was very suspicious of who she was and what family raised her,” Lt. Christopher Zimmerman of the New York Police Department said. “There was no paperwork to follow her such as a birth certificate or social security card. In her late teens she became suspicious of who she was.”

When Carlina White was unable to get a driver’s license and saw no biological resemblance to the people she was living with, she grew suspicious.

What a wonderful story. She’s a beautiful girl. How awful that her life after being kidnapped was no better than it was. But she’s obviously very smart and tough, and that will help get her through.
Its kinda good that she’s all grown up when she met her real family, because they won’t have the friction they’d have if she was a kid and they had to take over and try to have rules and discipline. She’s gorwn up and they can be close without her feeling like they’re trying to control her.

It’s goodthat Carlina took it upon herself to find out more about herself. Some people as adults would have never gone to the extremes that she did to find out more about themselves.

I wasn’t a big fan of age progressions before, but the NCMEC artist nailed the age progression on this one spot-on!!!
