About freaking time. I was worried that you had a brain tumor or something.

Good news (well … compared to the alternatives, anyway). Hope it clears up soon.

lol, I told you that months ago. I had the same thing, horrible headaches with vomiting, couldn’t even drive or see without throwing up. CTscan ordered and deep nasty sinus infection. Let me twll you though, I did 3 weeks of Levitrol (something like that) the hard corest of antibiotics made specifically for sinus problems, it didn’t help. Now I have to have surgery on my sinuses and they sent me to an allergist and I have HORRIBLE allergies (worse than i knw- worst case in over 15 years the doc had seen) and so after surgery, and a few years of shots for the allergies I should be good to go. You will likely need the same, although my doc said if you can drive, it’s not that bad.

Merry Christmas – I’d take a sinus infection over the alternative any day!! Be SURE you really hydrate yourself AND take all of the antibiotic – even if you feel better. Sinus infections are so difficult to knock out, just because of where they are. You may end up with another go-round of the meds- grin and bear it- it’ll be worth it!!

Well, I guess it’s better than the alternative! Though that sucks, you’ll be tired from the antibiotics and all for a while, but you sure will feel better. My sister gets bad sinus infections too, but the only time she had anything compared to what you have was when she had an impacted tooth on top of it. Merry Christmas to you and Michael, M., and take care of you!

I am so glad that they know what’s up in your head. Now, do something nice for yourself for the holidays- a new book, whatever…and for Michael. Merry, happy, joyousness!

Sinus headaches can be particularly painful and sinus infections can be onerous to treat. I have met more than a few persons who have expressed some benefit with the use of a “neti pot”. Much information about neti pots can be found on the ‘net. But, PLEASE- discuss any treatment approaches with physician before embarking. Hope you get to feel better.

Oh my word! you poor thing. Thank goodness you have an answer for it now though, and relief is on the horizon! I hope those antibiotics kick that infection’s butt!

Now – why did you have to have your Christmas Tree scanned? Did I miss something??

take care…….they can last for months so I hope you get good treatment and feel better

I never knew sinus infections could get that bad! my aunt used to get really bad ones and then had to have surgery on her sinuses…still, it’s certainly better than a brain tumour!
