I had absolutely nothing to do today and couldn’t really go anywhere. I hurt my right leg somehow and it hurts a lot to walk or even shift positions. So I sat on my butt on the couch all day and worked on Charley. You shall see a stupendous number of updates tomorrow — possibly a new record.
Cool.
Sent the last accidentally before I was done.
What I meant was that it was cool that the number of updates will be high, not that your leg hurt.
Sorry your leg is hurt….it wasn’t a bat, was it? JK. Need a favor. Unless it has changed recently…on NAMPN there is a case file for April Mossey Brown. Under her id marks is that she has a tribal “tramp stamp”. I;ve sent two email about it, polite ones stating it is disrespectful at best and offensive in general. Nothing so far. Since you are way more important than me, if it isn’t corrected could you help? It just brasses me off. If they rip your case files off already couldn’t it just be “tattoo on lower back?”. Sorry so OT but I don’t know what else to do. No, I am not a member of her family. Thanks.
I’m sorry, but I’m quite sure they wouldn’t listen to me either. NAMPN hates me. They like to pretend I don’t exist. We don’t exactly have diplomatic relations. But I agree with you, that is a terrible way to describe a missing woman’s tattoo.
Yeah, I figured, this has been said before. Sigh. Ok, I’ll just get them to hate me, too! I mean, I get it. I’ve said it and in “my” generation now that is what it is called, but……geez. Respect. I’ll resend thru my [personal email and all, maybe that (again?) will get something. I just find that SO inappropriate. Disappeared with 3 kids too.
I wonder if she is still missing. I can’t find any news about her since one article back in April.
Oh, and thanks 🙂 for responding.
Dunno, have a Dec. 2008 missing for her, plus three kids…..
Tramp stamp sounds ofensive and maybe it is but I know some people that have that type of tattoo and they call it a tramp stamp too.
Its kind of like those wife beater shirts. A few years ago people got all upset about them being called that but now its the right word to use.
I would, too. My point is not the name, but the stereotype it invokes…there are enough of those with some MP’s without adding to it. It’s cool to say, oh I have one, but as an outsider, random viewer, what would you think upon reading that as a description?
Is that an American thing? I’d actually never heard of it being called that.
I guess proof that they really SHOULD change it.
