Cold case, no picture

I found this article about the 1986 disappearance of Ruby Akers, an elderly woman, from a nursing home. It may be more than your standard demented-old-person-wandered-off case; there have been rumors of foul play.

Unfortunately, the article, while otherwise lovely, has no picture of the missing woman and I can’t find a photo anywhere else either. Meaning I can’t put her on Charley. Grr.

UPDATE: Now they have added a picture. Thanks to all who brought that to my attention.

Maybe it wasn’t there earlier, but I clicked on your link and there’s a picture.

Hello. When I click the link, there is a photo of an elderly woman. I am reading this very quickly at work, so if the article mentions a twin or something, forgive and disregard. Keep up the good work.

I can also load the article and the picture of Ruby Akers.

Sweet, thanks! Sometimes they add a picture later.

I saw the pic too. Maybe they updated it since you last looked at it?
Really sad. If the home covered something up then that’s very bad. An OD by accident is bad enough but if it really was an accident then getting rid of the body and making out like she wandered away is serious business. They might not even of gotten in much trouble over an accident so why put the family through all that?
