Remember the schizophrenic stalker I wrote about earlier? Well, I thought she had given up, but she has resumed her nonsensical messages to me. (They now get automatically sent to Spam.) There have been 32 messages since June 7, including gems such as:

Do you think this might be a cry for help? This person sounds like she’s in serious trouble. You got 32 of these messages in 2 days? That’s alarming! I’m no professional, but I’d say this person needs to ne hospitalized.
Little point in telling her that, though.
I would hope to find a responsible person to tell.

First, when you plug in her email into Facebook does anything pop up? (maybe before she relapsed?)
Secondly, make a police report for harassment. Hopefully someone lives with her and will catch wind of it. They probably won’t do much, but they may refer it to social services for intervention…
Okay, I called the cops in Sarasota and told them about her, and gave her a name and that 1825 Wharf Road address she keeps giving out. They actually took me seriously — I was surprised — and said they would send an officer to the address to check.
There are those who belive that somewhere deep inside the mysterious space between the ears of an irrantional person there is a faint glimmer of reason that tells them they need to let someone know they need help. So they pick someone they think will get them the help they need when they do things like this.
There are also those who believe a person this whacked out has no reason at all.
As for me, I’m undecided.

The correspondence looks as if the sender has chosen to play at madness – the “misspellings” mostly appear to be planned typo-like errors (m,urdered; twop; thier; foreced; thankfull; outy; teen aged – then spelling it correctly immediately afterward; and so on).
The only truly misspelled word (devestaed / devestyated) is a giveaway, as the sender has either spelled everything correctly or has made only typo-like mistakes on the other words in the text, handling words of similar spelling difficulty (extortion; honorable; toddlers; occult; community; intelligent, etc.) with ease.
Denoting sentence-endings with periods, then not spacing before starting another sentence, also indicates that the sender is purposefully attempting to display schizophrenic tendencies, as active schizophrenics would allow nothing to stop their conversational flow. One would expect to see many words strung together with no spacing at all.
The truly mentally disturbed don’t have the option of masking their writing in this way, although this doesn’t mean that the sender is NOT dangerous. Indeed, as the sender would appear to be attempting camouflage, he or she may be doubly dangerous – not necessarily to him- or herself, but to others. Good call to contact LE then.
I do not know enough about “word salad” type stuff to remark on how nuts the woman is, but hundreds of emails over the past few months — up to 39 these past two days — indicate something is seriously wrong.
My point was that this is not a word salad – although, as I also said, something is seriously wrong.
You should set up a forwarding thing and have any further messages go directly to Sarasota PD. Incidentally, the address in question, via Google Street View, is located in an unassuming-looking, middle class neighborhood.
I don’t know about that. I have read the memoir of a schizophrenic woman, Elyn Saks, and when she describes her psychotic episodes and word salad-ness she says she did talk in sentences, just ones that didn’t make any sense:
“My name is Elyn. They used to call me ‘Elyn, Elyn, watermelon.’ At school. Where I used to go. Where I am now and having trouble.”
“What kind of trouble?” she asked.
“There’s trouble. Right here in River City. Home of the New Haveners. Where there is no heaven, new or old. I’m just looking for a haven. Can you give me a haven? Aren’t you too young? Why are you crying? I cry before the voices are at the end of time. Time is too old. I’ve killed lots of people.”

Well, some of you may have noticed that I’ve made a few typos too, and maybe I am a little nuts, but this is way, way beyond that. This is sentences following sentences that have nothing to do with each other. The subject keeps changing, and the reader has no clue where the writer is going with this. This person is not completing her thougts, and not relating them with each other well, if at all. This indicates out-of-control schizophrenia, if you ask me.
None of us are psychiatrists here. (At least, not as far as I know. I admit I don’t know how most of these commenters make their living.) But hopefully the police can get this woman to see a psychiatrist who can properly diagnose her.
I read a book once written by a guy who does workshops and stuff on preventing workplace violence. He wrote about some unusual letters he’d gotten as a result. One was from an obviously delusional woman who wrote much more clearly than my stalker, but was obviously off her rocker. The author quoted the letter in its entirety: she asked for help in getting rid of the celebrities that were stalking her and using her house to make reality shows and having naked orgies right in front of her, they just wouldn’t go away and they were ruining her life. She provided a long list of names, including all the members of the rock band The Who. The author said something like, “Obviously this person, while she may not be dangerous, is functioning very poorly and is probably quite miserable.”
Ooh! I found the letter on Amazon’s “look inside the book” feature. I misremembered some of it but got the gist right:
To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is in regards to the invasion of my privacy. I would appreciate any direct information leading to the explanation of this. Periodically, for nine years there have been famous and non-famous strangers watching me in the privacy of my home. I am greatly incompacitated [sic] and maimed by this intrusion. As I am typing this letter I am being watched by complete strangers.
People such as Ron Howard, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Kate Capshaw, Bill Gates, Paul Allan, Harry Anderson, Eddie Money, Ivanna Trump, Tom Petty, George Lucas, Troy Aikman, Rachel Hunter, Jack Nicholson, Goldie Hawn, Kenny Loggins, Jackson Brown, Wesley Snipes, Melinda Gates, Seal, Garrison Keilor, Don Bluth, some members of the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Who, B.T.O., Led Zepplin [sic], and Fleetwood Mac to name a very few of the people who have watched me in the privacy of my own dwelling place for several years have added to this hate crime and harassment.
Despite my pleas to ask them to leave me alone, these people keep finding new people to watch me. Sometimes, some of these people gratify themselves or each other sexually while invading my privacy in all areas in which I choose to live. There is also drug use at times by some of these people while invading my privacy. At times these and other people are accompanied by prostitutes or somebody’s children while invading my life.
I am great incapacitated by all this and the talk that surrounds such treatment. This exploitation of my life has proved to be excruciatingly painful for me. Along with the pain that is ever present due to this unwanted intrusion by these famous and non-famous strangers, I am not employable because of the reputation I have been handed by these strangers.
Before these famous people held charity dinners on behalf of the cause that they fabricated around my life and exploited me in every way imaginable, I had a happy, typical, conservative, affluent, dignified, respectable, middle-class life. I had no reputation as did none of my naturally selected piers [sic, should be peers]. I have no idea how any famous person even knows that I exist. I have never had the first thing to do with any famous person or anyone that has ever had to do with them or anyone they knew.
I have been conservatively waiting for nine years for this hate crime and intrusion to end and there is no end in sight. Someone tied to some famous person obstructs the delivery of this letter at times. So, if you receive this letter and are able to shed any light on this please call or write. I look forward to hearing from you.

I know these are old.But,I find these people absolutely fascinatingly intriguing.The mind may be a very beautiful thing,but it can also be one of the weirdest things on earth.
i have a nut case cyber stalker who calls themselves both producer lindsay show and just plain lindsay collins too. my nut case cyber stalker says crazy off the wall crap too, such as the fact that they just died and are now having a beer with jesus in hawaii in the afterlife, and other such crazy butt emails like that, that my nut case cyber stalker who calls themselves both lindsay collins and producer lindsay show or whatever. that is basically the emailed crazy crap, that my nut case cyber stalker has said to me in off the wall emails to me, talking about the fact that they have just died and have now gone to the afterlife, where them and jesus, or jesus and them are now having a beer in hawaii in the afterlife together or whatever! and other such crazy butt emails about how they used to know me, out in some washington state group care home, called the resource center, out there in mount lake terrace washington, and how they would sometimes be watching me from hidden corners at that group care home out there in that mount lake terrace group care home called the resource center out there in mount lake terrace washington, out there in washington state, and other such crazy emails sent to me by email too! what is really creepy, is when they said that they used to watch me, from the corners of the resource center group care home, out there in washington state, that is just way too creepy sounding! and how the staff would go into the staff’s office, and sometimes screw like rabbits too. that is what my nut case cyber stalker who claims to have known me, also said that the staff sometimes went into the staff’s office, and would go screw like rabbits! wow, just wow!
