I almost forgot

Today is National Missing Children’s Day. The date was designated in 1983, on the anniversary of the 1979 disappearance of six-year-old Etan Patz from New York City.

So remember the missing kids, people. And if you have any kids of your own, hug them or something.

Ronnie James Dio, the heavy metal singer, passed away May 16 of stomach cancer. He and his wife/manager Wendy Dio were both involved with this organization that rescues kids from trafficking…

Dio wrote these two songs with that organization in mind…

Good call. Let’s all light a candle, hug our kids, or remember why we are drawn to this. Could be anyone. I was about to comment on the Etan case being reopened and then saw Meaghan had posted about it…cool.
