As WISN and FOX 6 noted, today is the eighth anniversary of seven-year-old Alexis Patterson‘s disappearance from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her stepfather dropped her off at school, but she apparently decided to skip class that day. She wasn’t missed until that afternoon, when her parents found out she’d never gone to school.
There has never been very much evidence in Alexis’s disappearance. No witnesses, no physical evidence, she was just gone. The cops don’t seem to think anyone in the family was involved, but Alexis’s school was in a rough neighborhood and I think chances are she ran into some evil person who saw an opportunity and took it. If she’s still alive she would be fifteen years old now. I doubt she is, though.
