7,928 cases and counting

I just counted all my cases to see if I’d topped 8,000 yet. Close, but no cigar: 7,928 cases profiled. In a week or two I should make it. Charley has nearly doubled in size since its inception, when it only had a little over 4,000 cases.

It sounds like a huge number. It’s close to the population of the nearest town to me. (Okay, there is a settlement of less than a hundred people a few miles from here, but it seems to me that a place ought to possess at least one traffic light to be labeled a “town.”) But 8,000 is only a tiny sliver — less than one percent, I think — of the total number of people listed as missing in America right this minute.

how is your Ohio winter going?

First snowfall today. The light feathery kind. It was okay to drive in, just go slow. But I saw some huge pickup truck crashed against a telephone pole. I bet the driver figured that since he had a huge pickup truck with four-wheel drive he didn’t have to be careful.

I got a winter hat today, a knit one with a fleece lining and sides that go down over the ears and tie under the chin. It’s really nice, but I wish it didn’t have pom poms. Those are so dorky.

pom poms? I agree but the hat itself sounds nice. This post should show you how hard you work and since the site is so successful, and you have faithful viewers, you must be doing a GREAT job!

Wow and I thought I spent a lot of time reading the cases on here. Nothing to how long you’ve spend adding them. Thankyou Meaghan.
Hat sounds cute by the way!
